In Oruaiti Ive found out i am a mix of many things, i can be Confident and i can be shy, i can be loud and quiet, i can be funny and serious. I feel like it has chnged me for the better. I feel like it made me more mature and responsible. It made me relize who my true friends were and how people can just switch up on you. I feel like it taught me that i gotta get my work done because at high school if i get behind no one is gonna help me im on my own and gotta help my self. It also taught me to be an indapented person and be loyal to myself and everyone around. 

To Mark and Diane 

First of all I would like to thank you both very much for opening the doors of your art gallery for my class. I personally really enjoyed coming into your art gallery and you guys  having  warm smiles on your face. You were very welcoming to all of us. Your pieces of Art were astounding they had meanings behind every art piece. I was very influenced by you and your amazing art skills. This was an amazing experience for me. I also would like to thank you both for paying for our ice creams. They were delicious and I was very grateful for your kind gesture. I also was very grateful to get the opportunity to see your gallery.

I really liked your Taupo bay sunrise artwork. I love Taupo bay and we talked about how that’s your number one spot to surf. I love surfing at Taupo bay. I found it interesting that you said you surfed there. Thank you for letting us use your supplies to make a piece of art. I really enjoyed looking around at your artwork. It was beautiful.

My Whakatauki

W.A.L.T write Whakatauki and understanding what they mean. My Whakatauki is about strength of not just our own but everyone elses strength altogther.

This term we have been running the paddocks with cow poo and turkey poo and a lot of mud. We have been running in it and getting mud feet and my calves burn and I have been doing 5/6 laps and my gosh my legs hurt after. In week 5 were going to Peria school and doing 3 laps but there paddock is massive and 3 big laps will be tiring and imma have to push my self to my limits but its ok….

Production is today and I’m really scared because I’m also at the front so its even more scarier.

Its a few hours from now the first one is at 11.00 in the morning its for the grandparents and the second one is at 5.30 in the afternoon for the perants and people that wanna come watch .

were glow worms and the show is called on the road to Oruaiti . We will be wearing tutu’s and blue base ball caps and and light blue top or and light brown .

Glow worms

Glow worms once lit up the banks of the Waitetoki River like stars in summer guiding people who fished for eels at night. After a culvert was built by the Pakeha the glow worms disappeared though stories like Te Parata’s memory from Maungataniwha keep their glow alive.     

We did it we performed Infront of the grandparents it was really good we did mess up a bit but it was amazing I tried not to laugh but apart from that it was awesome .

Stephenie Meyer was born in Hartford Connecticut US she is an american author of Twilight saga. A series of vampire themed novels. Twilight the novel was the best selling vampire romance book. The book was published in 2005 and quickly became a pop culture phenomenon aimed at young adults, the book is a mix of love and danger. Through the story of Bella Swan, a teenage girl who falls in love with her mysterious Lab partner named Edward Cullen 

Summary 

The story is about Bella swan moving in with her dad to start over. She ends up going to a new high school and everyone wants to be her friend. But Bella is a shy girl with white pale skin and chocolate brown eyes Bella ends up being a bit awkward around people but her classmates don’t mind they seem to like her with the exception. But she thought Forks little town was gonna make a new start for her from recently moving out of her mums house in sunny Arizona to cloudy forks with her dad she entered her new class (history) she saw a free seat at an empty desk but then a boy walked in that she had been introduced to by one of her friends he had walked in with his family they were all also pale white . He sat down next to her. He had golden eyes and brown hair. He also had pale skin. When Edward Cullen sees Bella he starts acting very strange. Bella smells her hair to see if she smells but she smells fine Edward ends up leaving the room. Bella thought it was very weird for him to act like she knew he had some sort of secrets when she saw him in the cafeteria. He walked right past her table she was sitting at and her friend Jessica was talking about how he was gorgeous but he acts like he’s too good for everyone . 

About three things Bella Swan was right about  

First Edward was a vampire.

Second there was a part of him that didn’t know how desperate he was for Bella’s blood. 

Third of all Bella was uncontrollably in love with Edward.

I believe that it’s an amazing book and there were a few moments that I didn’t like but that’s like every book . I would definitely recommend it for young adults 

I found Twilight to be an engaging and fast paced read especially for fans who love reading about romance and supernatural fiction. The tension between Bella and Edward was well crafted and kept the pages turning. The gloomy atmospheric setting of forks also contributed to the novel’s moody tone which complemented the story’s emotional highs and lows.

However some aspects I felt like it started to go problematic. Bella depends on Edward too much and I feel like she’s always willing to risk everything for him. It raises concern about their portrayal of relationships especially for young readers . Her character often lacks agency and the dynamic between her and Edward can feel overly possessive rather than romantic.

I rate Twilight a 4.5 / 5 stars

This week  we were learning to spell out the alphabet in sign language and learning to talk in Sign language we weren’t to spell out our names in sign language and we were teaching kids to spell out there names in Wha Whanau so that they could teach other people to we learnt the whole Alphatbet in 1 whole day and we all learnt it of by heart and Wheae Sarah taught us to say some other words in sign language .

On the  first day back of school we made these all about our selfs posters so other people can learn about me. I do really enjoy cyber smart challenges because I can learn new and cool things to make my poster interesting. It was ok I guess I got abit board and I didnt really know what to write on it but I found some stuff .
